Urinary stones can be seen in merely all ages. They form in the kidneys, may block the passage of urine, get infected and may proceed with the loss of the kidney or even may be life-threatening. We, as urologists do not perform interventions on every urinary stone. This depends on the capabilty of the stone to give harm to the patient which must be discussed with an expert. Today we can manage more than 90% of stones endoscopically, even if it is the kidney.
